Sean Russell Photography

Hi! My name is Sean. I am a photographer based out of upstate New York.

My photography journey started in 2014, taking photos for my college's newspaper. I loved capturing moments in time, and it wasn't long before I was co-managing the paper's photo team, taking on jobs for the local news outlet as well. After graduating, I pursued photography at every turn, from politics in the NYS Assembly Chambers, to weddings, portraiture, and fine art photography for clients around the state. 

My photographic style is bold and timeless, with a focus on visual storytelling. With client projects, I aim to preserve moments, capture emotion, and create captivating imagery using a combination of natural light and flash. I edit all digital images by hand (many many hours of tweaking sliders in Lightroom and Photoshop!).
